in truth, what i was told

the path to getting into these careers are very alone, and very tough. especially with your background.

acid kill

Sex could kill you. Do you know what the human body goes through when you have sex? Pupils dilate, arteries constrict, core temperature rises, heart races, blood pressure skyrockets, respiration becomes rapid and shallow, the brain fires bursts of electrical impulses from nowhere to nowhere, and secretions spit out of every gland, and the muscles tense and spasm like you’re lifting three times your body weight. It’s violent, it’s ugly and it’s messy, and if God hadn’t made it unbelievably fun, the human race would have died out eons ago.

i realized only today that my switch to skype has been so seamless and non-disruptive that i didn't realize i wasn't talking to tons of fairly necessary people on msn.

i would have like to have continued with my deactivated facebook account, but alas work compels me to reactivate it to make use of fb like the amazing spamming channel it is.

i am so incoherent these days.

but updates to those who want one:
last year's juicy gossip is recurring albeit in a different way.

whatever you like

Men ask: "what do women want?"

The answer is lolzen: Women want a man who doesn't ask what women want.

Some men don't ask because they already know.

Some men don't ask because they don't care.

Women tend to end up with the second type – the bad boys – because they outnumber the first.

For the Zapatistas I'll rob my sisters. Of all the curtain and lace.

fear is the national emotion in our nation.

nobody said it was fair.
my social circle is shifting up the age ladder, aging progressions aside. i think old 30 somethings enjoy my company more than girlfriends.
seasonal lust sets in, starbucks now come in holiday cups.
i dislike people who dramatize minor misfortunes.
i was told i need to find my zen.

bolero 4:52am

grace is asleep now in the office. surely there has to be something to do at 4:52am at a office with clarke quay still alive 15 floors below.

partying the night away with sleazy guys: not interesting.

hanging out in the jacuzzi atop central at 1am with 6 beautiful women, one topless: good fun

the same beautiful women squealing while watching erotica: not good

i will meander around to raffles place for bergs or something for breakfast

there is so much lack of direction in the above.

my god i only want to be a excel sheet demi-god.

When all we wanted was the dream
To have and to hold that precious little thing

idk. i just thought it was very sass & bide rats-esque. really awesome and unfortunately non-practical in local weather.
i got my first antique typewriter today. it is very darling. as much as i love my laptops and the whole suite of apple's offerings, letters typed from a typewriter are very pretty to look at. admittedly i know nothing about typewriters other than the fact that they're very old school, so i did a quick google -
aparently there is a sizeable community of amazing people with antique/vintage typewriter collections. these are people who sell amazing trinkets and other beautiful things on etsy, and i would like to believe they live in beautiful boudoirs as well. and they say that they love it more than their Macbook air. so, I'm sure it'll grow on me, especially once I figure out how to work it properly.
i am planning a trip down to ann siang hill to see if the adidas slvr 15130 is a potential numero uno favourite wardrobe staple.
